Harold and Kumar - Root 3

Found this so called engineering poem. Quite good for an engineer huh?

I’m sure that I will always be
A lonely number like root three

The three is all that’s good and right,
Why must my three keep out of sight
Beneath the vicious square root sign,
I wish instead I were a nine

For nine could thwart this evil trick,
with just some quick arithmetic

I know I’ll never see the sun, as 1.7321
Such is my reality, a sad irrationality

When hark! What is this I see,
Another square root of a three

As quietly co-waltzing by,
Together now we multiply
To form a number we prefer,
Rejoicing as an integer

We break free from our mortal bonds
With the wave of magic wands

Our square root signs become unglued
Your love for me has been renewed

Mengucap Syukur

Sekolah usai, hasil exam lumayan, cari part-time job, gak dapet - dapet.

As a matter of fact, saya sebenarnya bukanlah seorang mahasiswa malang yang harus kerja rodi untuk sesuap nasi.

Saya mencari part-time, hanya semata-mata demi great Singapore sales, sedangkan teman saya mencarinya untuk menyokong biaya sekolahnya.
Yayyyy!!!! Praise the Lord :)

P.S. Saya pernah bekerja sebagai translator di sebuah talk, kebetulan temanya tentang managing your finances. What is interesting here, sang pembicara berkata, "Debt, is caused by unthankful heart!!!"

P.P.S. Try to give thanks in every situation :)

Automatic Can Compressor Dustbin

Yeahhh, finally finish my Engineering Innovative Design Project!!! And our group project, which is the aluminum can compressor dustbin aka ACCD, has finally done, working perfectly as perfect as it is :D

Basically the main purpose of this dustbin is to conserve space inside the recycling bin. As we know, overflowing rubbish bin is a common problem everywhere, including in Singapore. Here is some photograph which I take while I was walking in Singapore:

Overflowing bin in Jurong East MRT station

Overflowing bin near my room

Now a question arises in my mind. What causes these phenomenon? Is it because the clearing frequency of the bin is too low? Or is it because the bin is too small? Well, quoting my MP2004, Manufacturing Technologies & Materials lecturer: As an engineering, you got problem? Solve it!!!

Well, finally we come out with a product that can solve this problems. It is simply by compressing the rubbish!!!

However, our product mainly aim to compress can inside the recycling bin. Why we choose can? Well, simply because there is a lot of wasted space inside a can that actually can not be utilized.

After a year of hardwork, we finally made it through. We would like to present to you, the FULLY AUTOMATED CAN COMPRESSOR DUSTBIN!!!!

This dustbin is not only compressing can, but it also promoting "fun theory". Fun can change people behavior, that's why we are trying to attach this mechanism to arcade game. Our intention is to change people perceptions that recycling is a boring thing to do and only be done by those nerdy guys. However, with the increasing issue of global warming, we realize that everyone need to recycle in order to save this planet breath. We hope with fun theory attached to it, recycling can be done by all people without hesitation.

Here is some photo of our ultimate product. Enjoy....

Souvenirs

Well, I realized that I'm still student, still don't have money to go travel around the world (but surely one day I will :D) Just my friends very often travel and gave me this keychain as souvenirs aka "cindera mata"

Well, it might worth nothing, but the most important thing is, now I know who my best friend is, who still remember me when they are having loads of fun out there... It means something to me :)
Here is some of the pictures:
